Overview

An experienced Creative Director is required to lead a talented team of individuals and oversee all Design at a leading London based company with offices worldwide.

Reporting to the VP Marketing you will work collaboratively with other members of the Executive and Senior Leadership team on all things ranging from marketing, product and print operations. So this role calls for someone with an integrated design career spanning traditional Graphic, Brand and Print Design to Digital Design for the Web.

Responsibilities

As the Creative Director, you are ultimately responsible for the design integrity of the companies brand across all their physical products, marketing materials, web design and packaging.

You will manage a team of in-house designers (product, web and graphic designers) to deliver the goals of the team. As and when needed you will hire and oversee external agencies or freelancers.

Over the next 6-12 months, alongside the day-to-day requirements, there will be a focus on New Product Design and Accessories

Lead the design of new products and the acquisition of accessories to sell online. You will oversee the Product Designer and work along side the Product Manager to ensure the physical products are true to their product philosophy and premium standing while delivering on a real customer need.

The company is currently redesigning the website and as Creative Director, you will continue to push for a site that reflects their premium position and matches the high standards of design. You will work with the Head of Marketing to ensure all communications are on brand.

Our Norfolk based client is looking for multi talented graphic and web designer.

You will come from an agency environment and be working on designs for conventional design for print and web based project. Ideally you will be working on the full mix in terms of design with a equal weight or strength on websites. Being able to understand the architecture of a site and how it will work or make the user navigate through it is important so some UX experience would be great.

Although our client isnt looking for a developer its always preferable you can at least make up proposal work so the client can see ideas, so having a basic working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP and Flash AS2 and 3 would be ideal but not a deal breaker. First and foremost we are looking for a great designer.

This position is a newly created position, you will ideally be already working in the Norfolk area and used to working on local as well as better known brands.
