The Role
They are looking for a passionate, driven and experienced creative graphic and web designer to join their busy studio team to work on diverse mix of online and offline design, artwork and production projects for both print and web-based communications.
Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will be self-motivated, competent and flexible designer with a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a broad and adaptable style and be comfortable working on email marketing campaigns, websites, banner adverts and possible printed materials.
Responsibilities will include:
- Take design briefs and work closely with the other designers to produce digital artwork.
- Aiding project managers in providing design and production consultancy and assistance in the planning of projects (e.g. provision of estimates and timings).
- Design and infrastructure of websites that including graphic content, site navigation, and layout of content with a good understanding of user experience and usability.
- Design and produce email campaigns in accordance with best practice HTML coding.
- Create engaging creative design concepts to meet the clients brief.
Experience and Qualifications
- Design degree or equivalent.
- 3/4 years professional experience, ideally, within a creative design environment.
- Excellent knowledge Adobe creative suite CS4/5 including Dreamweaver.
- Strong creative offline and online graphic design and conceptualisation skills.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Confident in liaising directly with account managers and clients to develop and take brief’s, understand expectations and present back creative concepts.
- A good understanding of current website technologies and trends.
- To be able to work in a collaborative environment, helping to brainstorm ideas
- Print design and art working an advantage but not essential.
